Filtramax pond filters

This new range of Ubbink pond filters not only have a striking design, they are also brim-full of up-to-date pond technology.
The Filtramax pond filter works mechanically/biologically which means that the pond water is pumped into the filter by an external (Powermax) filter pump. It then first reaches an integral UVC unit which kills any germs. The pond water then passes through two filter chambers with special filter mats and filter media to purify the water before returning it to the pond. The pond water takes a good length of time to pass through these filters, ensuring excellent formation of the bacteria that are necessary for the biological/mechanical decomposition process. The Filtramax pond filter has a capacity of 60 litres but its unique expansion capability means it can be connected to multiple Filtramax pond units to increase capacity and meet specific conditions. Filtramax filter systems are ideal for combination with Powermax filter pumps.
