Hozelock Titan 2000 to 15000
The Titan range has been specifically designed for continuous running with minimum cleaning. Titans have the ability to pump solid particles up to 10mm without blocking (4mm with Titan 2000, 3000. 8mm with 5500 and 8000.). They are suitable for filtration, waterfalls and watercourses.
The large intake slots at the base of the pump minimise obstruction to solid particle migration and are specifically placed at the base of the pump in order to collect solids from the floor of the pond. This design maximises the effectiveness of the pump for filtration.
All Titans have unidirectional rotation to maximise pumping efficiency, with open impellers to provide the solids handling capability.
The Titan 2000 & 3000 use the motor from the mid range cascades providing unparalleled performance with low running costs.
The larger Titans use heavy duty, asynchronous motors. These use stainless steel rotor sleeving to increase magnetic coupling for maximum performance.
Titans are designed to work in the most demanding of pond environments and have to cope with continuous operation, pumping water laden with solid material. The special design of these pumps ensures that they can confidently be offered with a three year guarantee
All Titans are unique in using TRF protection to avoid damage to the motor. All Titans use Ceramic shafts and bearings throughout for maximum life. (The ceramic that Hozelock use is almost as hard as diamond)
Titan pumps are designed to pump water containing solid material to a filter or a waterfall. The cage is specially designed to prevent it clogging by providing the maximum surface area.
All Titan pumps feature a wildlife protection system (WPS) so that in spring when the fish fry and tadpole are present in the pond, it is possible to close the inlet cage down to as little as 2mm.
The hose can be positioned to lie along the bottom of the pond in any direction from the pump. The inclusion of a ball joint on the pump outlet now makes this easier.
Tool free access when maintenance is required. Extra secure locking latches have been added to the cages to hold the pump firmly together yet still allow tool free access.
